First off, calm down. I totally understand. My abdominal ultrasound showed some lesions on my liver so the doc wanted me to have a CT scan. Of course my mind went straight to the big "C". I had to spend an entire day going back and fourth with our insurance and the CT scan folks to make sure it was going to be covered. I went and had the scan, then Snowmaggedon came! The results almost didn't make it in time for the surgery. I was already checked in and prepped for surgery before I even knew if I was ok. Thankfully it was absolutely nothing. I learned I have to do what I can to help out the process, but when it comes to our bodies, there are many things that are out of our control.
Breathe deeply, and relax. If it is the right time for you to do this it will happen. BUT if your body can't handle it, you wouldn't want to go in for major surgery right now would you? You have to be healthy to go through this.... and when it's all over you will be glad you are over it and forget all this stuff that happened before!
Best of luck, let us know what the doc says.

Thanks for that. I am trying to remember that I don't want to have surgery if I am not healthy enough. Thanks :)
