I know the Optfast must be difficult. Try your best to stick with it. After your surgery you won't have the hunger to deal with. With my protein shakes, I would freeze them in a water bottle the night before. They would thaw out during the day as we cruised around town. A little nervous, but my sister had GBP 2 years ago and she did fine and does not regret her decision. I'm having the GBP because I'm diabetic and the GBP eliminates diabetes almost immediately in most cases.
