Ashley Werring, R.D.

Ashley Werring is a Registered Dietitian accredited by the American Dietetic Association. Ashley received her Bachelor of Science degree at James Madison University, and went on to complete the dietetic internship graduate program at Virginia Tech. Ashley has had previous experience working as a clinical dietitian in hospital and long term care settings. She realized her passion for counseling and education as an undergrad while working as a nutrition analyst and weight loss counselor. Currently she specializes in pre and post operative nutrition counseling for bariatric surgery patients. In addition to being a member of the American Dietetic Association, she is also the co-chair of federal legislation for the Northern District Virginia Dietetic Association.
